I love this little boy so much. I can't believe he is already 2.

A few things he is into....

-watching the Sandlot (Squints getting into "deep shit" is his favorite part)

-watching Fu Panda (Kung Fu Panda)

-puppies...he wants a dog so bad...although yesterday he did ask for a sister. I told him when he gets a puppy we will name her sister.

-He still loves his horsie movie (Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron)

-Loves going to the corrals with his Tata to see his horsie Viper

-Loves playing with Fitz & Bert

-Favorite phrase "wha you doing?" and "Idon want to"

-watching Glee and singing along...it's the cutest damn thing. He gets our Guitar Hero guitars and just jamms out. His favorite episodes are when they sing New York and One Love. We watch them over and over and over....The boy loves him some Bob Marley. Yep, that's my kid!

Finally!

After 2 years of being on this earth...we got all 4 boys together under one roof.

Me and my 3 besties all had babies within a month of eachother. It was an awesome experience...and so not planned. A beautiful story I will have to share in the future.

This weekend we were all in the same place at the same time and totally planned. I had them all over to my little casita for breakfast. It's hard to have a converstion with 4 toddlers in the house...boy toddlers. But boy was it fun to see them interact with eachother.

Monica and lil E stayed the night so we had this action going on while we were trying to make breakfast.

Yeah, my son is the one that looks totally guilty. "I did it...whatcha gonna do about it"

B welcomed everyone in by shooting them...Thanks Tata Al for the gun. That got put away very soon after. (terrible picture, sorry)

And here they are all 4 of them playing. The only picture I have of just all 4 of them. Hoping my friends got better pictures with their cameras. Love these girls & boys...can't wait to do it again. We all live in different cities and states so it is very difficult for us to all get together. Hopefully it won't take another 2 years.

Simple Dinner

Last night I didn't feel like making dinner. The night before I had made spaghetti and still had some left-over sauce and ground turkey. I found this recipe online yesterday and thought it was perfect for a quick simple dinner. I was afraid P wouldn't like it, he's a little picky. It's better when he doesn't watch me make things. He was out mowing the lawn. So I hid all the evidence before he came in. All he saw was toasted sandwhiches. The verdict...he really liked them. He had no idea I used the left-overs. It's hard to find things to make for dinner so I'm glad I can add this to my list. I'm going to try and make those whoopie pies this weekend. I'll let you know how that goes.
I've been finding lots of great food ideas online lately. Two weeks ago I made these for the little boy. He loved them. We all did. And they taste just like Cheez-Its. I will for sure be making these again....when it cools down a bit here in AZ. Hate putting the oven on in the summer time.

10 Things-Boy Edition

10} He always has to have Momma's attention.

9} He is still sleeping with his parents....and has no intention of sleeping in his own bed...just ask him....he says no every time.

8} We discovered he loves figs and carne asada this weekend.

7} He might have a new babysitter soon...We'll find out Saturday.

6} He loves his monkey so much.

5} He loved going to the corrals with my dad and seeing all the horses, chickens, bunnies & cows. We might have a cowboy on our hands.

4} He's still saying bad words...F word is his favorite...every once in a while he will throw a damn it in there. When I scold him for saying the F word...he says "momma...faaaa...faaaa...faaa...."

The boy mocks me!!! How do I not laugh at that. I'm a bad mom...I know!

3} His latest thing is coloring. It last about 2 minutes then he tosses all the crayons all over the living room. Artists!

2} Every night before we go to bed he has to watch a video of my cousins dog, Chito. She was so nice to send it to us. He loves puppies and really loves Chito.

1} His new favorite word/phrase....Gaaaaleeeee (interperated: Golly). Usually said when something doesn't go his way. Better than the above words {4}.

10 things

• New piece of furniture at an excellent price makes me so very happy.
• Humidity + curly hair= no bueno
• I have seen Shrek & Shrek 2 way too many times. I am starting to quote lines...and think I'm funny.
• Garden is looking real sad, maybe next year will be better.
• Iced Chai tea is addicting.
• Did I mention I am loving my new piece of furniture? Now to fill the China cabinet with some pretties.
• Lots of changes at work. Not good or bad just changes. Trying to not be scared...just roll with the punches.
• Need to get the boy to sleep in his own bed.
• Birthday party planning is in full swing.
• Pull my finger/Fart jokes make my Sonny very happy, which makes me laugh the most. That boy kills me!

4th of July-Weekend Update

We decided last minute to head to California for the 4th. So grateful for Uncle Ted, Carmen & Nic for letting us just pop in when we need a break from the AZ heat.

We go there at 10 PM on Friday night and headed home at 10 AM on Monday morning. Of course the only day I took pictures was on the 4th...during the day.
We woke up and headed to Santa Monica Pier...so here we go with the pictures.

I love this boy so much. I can't wait to really spend the day at the beach with him. He wasn't really digging the waves this time. Hopefully next summer.

You think I look like this to him? This was taken earlier this year.

But all weekend he kept getting our cell phones and telling us "smile!" okay...it's more like SMIOOOO...so darn cute. How can you not smile?

3-4

Ugh...the big 3-4...I really don't like birthdays. But I have to say yesterday was a good day. Started with the little one sleeping through the whole night in his own bed...Ya Brandoncito!!! He woke up around 6:30 and we put him in bed with us to watch some toons...who doesn't love Handy Manny at 6:30 AM? My love let me take a long shower while he watched B and made us all breakfast. Then it was on to get B to his 18 month doctors appointment by 10...for the first time since he has been born...we made it to the appointment early! They got us right in. The boy did excellent. He was a little hesitant to let Dr. Z look in his mouth but once she got out popsicle stick he was okay...I think he thought he was going to get some ice cream. Ha! She said everything looked and sounded good. And we passed on getting him tested for Autism. I think for now he is good. I did appreciate the fact that they ask and have you do a questionnaire. After B gave Dr. Z a big high 5 and knuckle bumps we were out of there. I had a free b'day coupon from Starbucks so off we went to get me Chai tea. We dropped B off with the sitter and P and I went to see Sex & the City 2. I love Carrie and the girls! I had a great movie date with my love. Afterwards we went to get us new flip flops...another birthday coupon from Famous Footwear. $20 off...Hell Yeah!! I got 2 pair of chanclas! Then we went to pick up B to have a early dinner at Pei Wei. It had been too long since I had been there...I don't know why I don't go more often...I love that place. Brandon had never been...so I was a little worried...turns out he loves Pei Wei too. Then home to watch Suns/Lakers game...Oh it was so close!
All in all it was a great 34th Birthday!!

Potty training...sort of

On Saturday night B decided he wanted to take off his diaper...so P asked him if he had to go potty. He took off running to the bathroom door so I went and sat him on the toilet...nothing. Sunday night...he does the same thing...taking diaper off so I walk him to the bathroom and again I sit him on the toilet. This time I ask if he needs to poop. He just smiles at me...so I figured he did...he started pushing and the next thing I knew I felt something wet on my foot...he had peed out side of the bowl...onto my foot. I was so excited didn't even care that I had pee on my foot. Ha! Yes, I'm offically a mom when pee on my foot doesn't bother me (well my sons anyway). He was so proud of himself. I can't believe how big he is getting. What's next????

Easter

We started off by going through basket that the Easter Bunny brought...clearly he is not happy with the socks...LOL.

I wanted to have a picture of him sitting in basket like I did last year...yea, not going to work this year.
Look how sweet he looked here...in serious need of a haircut! 04/09 Back to this year. He wasn't all that excited about waking up from a nap to have to go outside and pick up things we had put on the ground for him.

He is used to us picking up after him not the other way around. He was really upset that we were making him pick things up...look at that face! I don't know where he gets that from...(cough**Mom**cough)But he did enjoy eating the eggs afterwards so that was a good thing. He ate 3 whole eggs, yolk and all. We had a very low-key day but it was beautiful....and Blessed.

All Grows Well!

This year we finally got our garden started. We have been talking about if for a while now but this year was the year. Paul's aunt had the hook-up with getting us these awesome tubs to keep a container garden. We decided to put them next to our shed...perfect spot to see them from my kitchen window.

Let your mom teach your son to drink out of water hose...hey it didn't kill us, right?

Get him cleaned up to let Tata push him around in a rusty wheelbarrel.
And after all that hard work....we got tomatoe plants, jalapenos, squash, zuchini, green onions, cucumbers, mint and basil. I can't wait to make my first salsa. I'll keep you updated on how things are growing.

Pioneer Days

Pioneer Days is what our small town calls their annual festival/carnival. I was excited to have Brandon get on rides...turnes out he is too young to ride any rides. Next year it's on! He did get to ride the horses and the little train with an adult. Thank God for Nana's and Tata's!

Even daddy got in on the fun! And boy was he pissed when a 4 year old little girl beat him.
And mom and dad had a great night out with friends at the local bar. Even if Paul had to make me go home at 2:30 AM....Good times! Ha!

Wildlife World Zoo

I haven't been posting like I should I'm behind 3 weeks. So I will start at the begining. We decided to take Brandon to the zoo. Since we a had a coupon for buy one get one free we decided to go to the Wildlife World Zoo. We had a great time. We had perfect weather. So now I will share some pics.

I will spare you the pictures Paul took of the turtles mating.

We will for sure go back to this Zoo...(we already cut another buy one get one free coupon from our egg carton)..hopefully before it gets too hot.

Happy Hour

Last night I went to my first happy hour in years! Cousin Bobby was in town from Virginia so Cousin Roberta set up a happy hour at Ra for all the cousins in the area to meet up with him. It was so much fun. I haven't seen him since my Nana's funeral 2 years ago. It was nice to catch up with everyone. Our lives get so busy with work and kids we just don't hang out like we used to. I know I don't. I feel guilty for leaving B when I have already left him all day to go to work. But last night was good for me. Made me realize I'm still Felicia...not just MOM.
Although, I did tear up when I got home and B was already asleep. I didn't see him at all yesterday. But we made up for it this morning with lots of kisses.
And of course...no one took any pictures of last night. Maybe next time!

Pure Luck

He started off throwing all the lids out of the drawer. Then he was trying to get in and sit down...cute right? I turned around to get my camera that was on the other counter when I came back he was standing on the drawer. He's too much to handle.
And they tell me to have another one!! I don't think so!

A Situation

That's what we got going on in this house with this little boy. Lately when he hears music he starts doing the "Fist Pump". I swear we don't watch Jersey Shore...but we do watch TMZ. So we know all about the Situation. We are trying to get video...as soon as we do we'll post. Crazy Kid!

We went to the snow last weekend. Got some great picture...love this one of my boys.That's all I got for now. Be back soon to talk about my Project Life album.

Puro Sippie Cups!!

It's been two weeks today since Brandon has had a bottle. We our so proud he hasn't even asked for one. Through unfortunate circumstances I got to spend the whole day with y Lil Lovie!! We our headed to K-Town manyana to go visit Nanas and Tatas.

Okay, trying to get back into blogging. It's been a long time.

But I feel like I need to keep a record of my baby's life. So many little miles stones that will go forgotten.

Last weekend we took our first major family trip. We went to California! We flew into Ontario on Saturday and hung out with the Lorona's. Sunday we got up early and headed down to San Diego...Sea World here we come. We had a really good time. Except for this mom is a bad scrapbooker...forgot to charge camera battery before the trip. Luckily we had extra camera, so I was able to get some pictures.

He loved watching the dolphins swim by.
He was a little afraid of Elmo and Zoe...but he did let Elmo give him a kiss...as long as Momma was holding him.
